For the past 10 years i have visited Jersey and this is the first visit to Restaurant Sirocco. The dining room is one of the most organized and managed of any from Hong Kong to New York City. The service was exceptional, courteous and prompt staff and exceptional products from the kitchen. On my return to Jersey next year this will be my destination
I no longer have to travel to London so frequently to find high quality food. When I first met Fred and asked him where he worked previously, he said “Checkers”. When I said Sirocco was a bit of change from the Georgetown supermarket (albeit very nice) coffee shop, he replied “actually, I was working for John Major” – turned out he’d meant Chequers, the Prime Minister’s residence!
I just wanted to let you know that Saturday day & night at the hotel was really fabulous, please pass on our gratitude to the restaurant and kitchen staff who looked after us all so well. Everything went great (apart from the hangovers) the barman makes a mean cocktail!!!! Food was excellent, I can imagine how difficult it can be to keep everyone happy and on time, but there no complaints,. We even made breakfast! Hopefully I can recover in time for Christmas! Thank you all once again.
This hotel surpassed all expectations in cleanliness, friendly staff and excellent food. The presentation of the food coupled with the high standard of cooking made dining in the Sirocco restaurant a pleasure. Breakfast was delicious with a very wide variety of good food on offer. We had reason to mention that there was a problem with one of the bathroom taps and this was dealt with promptly. Yes i would gladly return there.
Everyone was very happy with their hotel rooms and dinner on Saturday night was fantastic! We were blown away by this meal and the staff were really friendly. Those in the group who wanted some night life were pleased that they did not have to leave the hotel to find it.
