A Promising relationship with Durrell

We are currently in the middle of further developing our original Corporate Social Responsibility policy, ensuring that it is more coherent and will have increased effectiveness. Part of this policy is cultivating a relationship with Durrell through sponsorship and support for their philanthropic schemes.
Our ‘clicks for Durrell’ campaign kicked off at the start of April this year, where we donate a percentage of each accommodation booking made through our website, to Durrell’s core funding. The core funding is integral to the day to day running of the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust; all the money raised for them will go towards the care (in terms of medical care, feeding and housing) of all the animals, as well as ongoing site maintenance to ensure that all inhabitants are protected and nurtured.

In addition, as part of our commitment to helping the environment, we have joined Durrell’s ‘Carbon Offset’ programme. We are hoping that our recognition that our energy and material usage has an impact on the environment and our subsequent pro-activeness will not only help offset our own carbon footprint but also influence those around us to take a similar responsive approach.
We’re also planning to hold exciting fundraising events in aid of Durrell later this year so watch this space...
